Pizza scime is a flat bread from the Chieti province. It is believed that the recipe originated in the Jewish communities settled in Casoli, Lanciano, Roccascalegna, Altino in the 12-17th centuries. I love simple local recipes like pizza scime: all you need is flour, white wine, olive oil and a sprinkle of salt.
You will learn how to make pizza scime and bake it on embers, just the way it was done centuries ago.
After all the hard work you’ll eat the fruits of your labour and other delicious locally made specialities.
The experience will take place at a small farm near Lanciano.
