Drink wine and make cheese! We will take you to a small family-run winery loved by locals to taste Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Pecorino, Cerasuolo and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo and walk in a vineyard with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and hilltop towns.
You will be greeted by the family and taste some of the wines directly from the tanks (have you ever done that?). After the winery, we will head to a tiny mountain hamlet to learn how to make traditional sheep’s milk cheese pecorino and taste various cheeses, fresh and aged. You will also take a piece of pecorino with you to enjoy later or give it as a present to a foodie friend.
Different locations are available. An option with a cheese-making demonstration (rather than a cheesemaking class) is also available.
